Differentiated planners based on CAPS & IEB curriculums...

Get a heads up on topics to be taught at school BEFORE the term begins!

Learner-centred, structured support & study tools based on needs identified during lessons:

"It's important
to consider the learner as more than just a student, but as a little human who has other subjects, their own family commitments, play time & wellbeing ect. that they need to balance while studying."
"Kids often see
homework as
a chore. As a team it's important we remind them
about the reasons for their learning. I also understand that life happens sometimes! This is why I leave it up to the parents/guardians to decide if there is time for homework."

"I use this when the kids become forgetful or simply expect a reminder as part of their routine. Sometimes my students get overwhelmed easily so I prefer something simpler for them while us adults handle the big stuff!"

"I spend a lot of time making guidelines and workbooks. While I do provide general guidelines for across the grades, there are also workbooks I make wherein I customise the content. For example, if student X thrives in division but struggles in geometry while student Y does well in geometry but struggles in division- student X's workbook will focus more on building understanding (incl. lower-middle order questions) in division and a few higher-order cognitive questions on geometry. Student Y would have the opposite. It's also important to remember that learning is a continuous process and that student X may still find some geometry questions in the future, challenging. Hence, as a tutor you must always be ontop of things and check-in with your students regularly!"

"Study planners come in a variety of formats. It needs to have an appealing look for my student to want to engage with it so I choose them wisely each term. It also helps if it's in a colour or theme that the student likes and is in a format that best suits their learning needs."
