Side note: What is the difference between CAPS and IEB? 
CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements) is the national curriculum framework for South Africa, used mainly in public schools, focusing on core knowledge and sequential learning, while the IEB (Independent Examinations Board) is an assessment body (primarily for private schools) that uses the CAPS framework but implements it with a more rigorous, application-focused, and independent thinking approach, leading to the same National Senior Certificate (NSC) but with different exam styles.
